Projects in Guatemala City, Guatemala – July 18th – 25th 2026
Medical, Vision, and Dental Clinics
-Goal for Supplies: $2,275
Construction of a Home
-Not only does this provide a home for a family in need, but it also includes the installation of a water tank to allow the family to store clean water.
-Cost: $5,000
Woodburning Stoves, Water Filtration Systems, Food Bags, and Bibles
-Goal: Provide 20 families with all of these necessities
-Cost: $300 per family – $6,000 total
Projects in Cartagena, Colombia – March 14th – 21st 2026
-Medical, dental, and vision services for underserved communities
-A field trip for children enrolled in BOH online English classes
-Sports activities with our partner school
-Visit to local children’s hospital
Touching Lives and Engaging Hearts
-Bridges of Hope is partnering with Institucion Educative Jose de la Vega who serves 2,800 K-12 in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Cartagena.
-This program which brings extra schooling, ESL classes, parent workshops, teacher training, medical/dental/vision services, and sports participation.
-50 first graders are currently enrolled in the online English classes

Microenterprising Projects
-Bridges of Hope is tasked with providing scholarships so that these individuals can learn a new skill or trade to provide for their families.
-Our long-time partner, Actuar Por Bolivar has approved a list of people for starting their own businesses.
-Each recipient recieves vocational training and ongoing career counseling by the dedicated professional staff at Actuar Por Bolivar.
-Cost: $350 per scholarship
-Goal: 10 scholarships totaling $3,500
Bible Project
-We will be distributing Bibles to those attending our clinics and other activities both in Colombia and Guatemala.
-Cost: $5 per Bible
-Goal: 1500 Bibles ($7,500)
