Bridges of Hope Inner City is our new domestic initiative that was inspired by the faithful service and support of our partners. Our partners are the people who support the vision and continue to strengthen our organization. They are not only the foundation of Bridges of Hope, but they see serving others as a privilege. BOH Inner City offers opportunities to those with a desire to serve in their community.

Our Inner City initiative includes a new partnership with an inspiring after-school program at New Era Church. New Era started Operation More Hope to faithfully serve over 40 high-risk children from Indianapolis Public School #42. They accomplish this by serving nutritious meals, remediation, enrichment, and tutoring throughout the school year.

We are excited to continue sending weekly leadership teams to New Era and assist with mentoring, tutoring and enrichment at Operation More Hope. Bridges of Hope also looks to utilize contacts and existing partnerships to assist with food supplies that New Era uses to alleviate a growing food desert in their community.

BOH Inner City will continue searching for partnerships that serve the needs of school children and their families. Through cross-cultural relationships we look to creatively address needs and begin to restore hope to the inner city.

MEET OUR NEWEST INNER CITY PARTNER:

NeighborLink Indianapolis.  Would you like to invest your time and efforts to make a difference helping those who cannot help themselves? Bridges of Hope International is excited to partner with NeighborLink Indianapolis in meeting the needs of seniors and homeowners with disabilities by providing home repairs. Since our vision is to serve others from a holistic perspective; emotionally, physically and spiritually there are many options available for you to use your skills and other life experiences to bring a smile to those in need. Light construction work, remodeling, and repair projects can allow the disabled to function more comfortably in their own homes.  In addition, meals, words of encouragement, and other basic needs can be met as you help us build a bridge of hope into the homes and hearts of those who would welcome a new friend into their lives.

Please contact our Project Manager, Sanford Miller, 317-250-5515swmiller10@gmail.com or submit the form below for more information.

Bridges of Hope Inner City is partnering with New Era Church and Operation More Hope throughout the end of the school year and we are in need of volunteers to mentor and tutor students that are enrolled in the program. These are high risk students that are looking to get help in their studies and have a bright future! The more volunteers we have the more one on one help we will be able to provide the children. We are also in need of volunteers to work alongside us and NeighborLink to help those in need here in Indaianpolis. Please join us in bringing hope to these children and families!
